　　孙中山铁路建设思想的形成，是一个随历史发展需求而不断深化、系统化、延伸化的过程，同他的其它思想一样，经过了萌芽、确立和成熟三个阶段。其反映了当时国内外经济、政治和文化的时代缩影，展现出一位伟大的革命家、政治家和实业家为挽救民族危亡，力求发展近代中国资本主义工业而实现“国利民福”的强烈愿望。
　　
　　孙中山铁路建设思想，起初是为抵抗殖民侵略而提出的，随着资产阶级革命胜利，民族、民权主义相继“实现”,孙中山便将发展铁路事业上升到改善社会民生建设和恢复民初国家经济的层面，并作出了一系列的探究和努力。
　　
　　论文首先对孙中山国内外铁路建设经验和经济发展局势进行了分析总结，认为振兴中国的唯一方式是发展实业，实业建设的重点在于交通，而计划交通的关键就是铁道。其次，孙中山辞去临时大总统职位后，从政治战场转移到了经济战线上来。一方面到全国各地实地考察铁路建设情况；另一方面奔走于美国、日本等发达资本主义国家，宣讲铁路建设的相关政策，希望能够通过国内有利条件吸引外资筹建 20 万里铁路。
　　
　　论文最后，阐述孙中山审时度势，将铁路建设与中国的具体国情相结合，提出了“开放主义”、“铁路国有”等真知灼见，并在《建国方略》一书中对中国未来的铁路路线规划进行了详尽的阐述。

　　Abstract
　　
　　Sun Yat-sen's construction of the railways is a process, which continually deepen withthe demand of the extension. As well as his other thoughts, the thought about theconstruction of railway experienced the steps of dawn, establishment and mature. It reflectsthe era of economic, political and cultural microcosm both in China and abroad, showing agreat revolutionist, statesman and industrialists who wanted to save the nation by developingthe modern capitalist industry. He wanted to achieve the strong willing to make Chinesepeople wealthier than before.
　　
　　In the beginning, Sun Yat-sen's thinking on railway construction is proposed forresistance to colonial invasion, with the victory of the bourgeois revolution, the “nation” and“civil rights” came true, Sun Yat-sen arouse the development of railway to a level of socialbuilding and restoring the national economy in the early days of the people's livelihood. Hemade a series of exploration and hard work for that.
　　
　　First of all, Sun made a conclusion and analyzing on the situation of the contribution ofrailway in both China and abroad. He thought that China should develop industry, only inthis way, can we revitalize China. He believed that the industrial construction is focused onthe traffic; the railway is the key to the transportation.
　　
　　Secondly, after Sun resigned the temporary President, he turned his working point fromthe political to the economic front. On the one hand, he made his trips all over the country toinvestigate the railway construction, on the other hand, he made his trips between UnitedStates and Japan or other developed capitalist countries to preach the relevant policy ofrailway construction, hoping that he can attract foreign investment by domestic favorableconditions to set up a 20 miles' railway.
　　
　　Finally, Sun looked over the situation, combining the railway construction with China'sspecific national conditions, put forward the “opening regionalism” and “state-ownedrailway” insights, and explained the founding of the general plan for the future of Chineserailway route on the detailed elaboration in his book.
　　
　　The research on Sun's thinking characteristics as well as contents and system onrailway construction is helpful for us to understand the ideology of the people's livelihood.
　　
　　Although Sun's thought about the modern China railway construction idea has someunscientific and subjective factors, but it still has a realistic meaning of the modernconstruction of our country and the northwest development.
