　　文化不同于物质利益本身，也并非国家综合实力的直接表现，但它却是社会中不可或缺的组成部分。文化是一种秩序。它通过其独特的社会功能对社会其它组成部分进行着有机整合，维系并规范着整个社会生活。文化是一种信仰体系。它关系到一个民族的道德理想、价值观念和意识形态，为人们的社会行动提供合法性依据。
　　
　　文化是一种力的集合。它以其独特的方式统摄人们的思想观念，形成群体的统一意志，确立集体目标，实施社会动员，最终实现整体目标。而文化之所以具有这些社会功能，主要是由于其核心组成部分价值观念体系植根于人的内心精神世界，能更直接地对人们的思维方式和行为方式发生较为恒久的影响，且一旦形成就能保持其相对稳定性。
　　
　　红色文化是中国共产党在血与火的革命年代领导中国人民创建的无产阶级政治文化，蕴涵了共产党人在新民主主义革命时期的政治理想、爱国情怀、思想观念和道德诉求，凸显了共产党人优良的革命传统和崇高的革命精神，集中体现了中华民族宝贵的精神财富以及我们党的先进性。红色文化在本质上成为中国共产党在新民主主义革命时期领导构建的社会核心价值观念体系，属于先进的社会意识范畴，具有丰富的科学内涵。历史中的红色文化是一种政治现象，是反映和服务于中国新民主主义革命实践的政治文化。论文从政治学的角度出发，立足于“历史”与“现实”的维度，深入而系统地剖析红色文化的深刻内涵、本质特征以及生成机制，较为全面地分析红色文化所承载的核心元素--坚定的理想信念、科学的创新思维、顽强的革命精神和高尚的道德品质在新民主主义革命实践过程中的历史作用，这对于当前的“红色文化”研究在理论上无疑将拓展一个新的思维视野。现实当中我们所谈及的红色文化则是一种历史文化现象，是中华文化宝库中的优质资源，成为社会主义先进文化永久的根基。论文紧密结合当前实际，进一步探析了红色文化在构建社会主义和谐社会中的现实价值，力求为“党的建设”、“建构社会主义核心价值体系”和“军队的现代化建设”拓展新视野、新思路。这对于当前探讨用社会主义核心价值体系引领社会思潮的新途径、推进社会主义文化大繁荣大发展无疑又将具有一定的实践意义。

　　Abstract
　　
　　Culture is different from material interests itself, and not the direct performance ofthe national comprehensive strength; however, it is an indispensable component of thesociety. Culture is a kind of order. Through its unique social function, culture integrateswith other components of the organic, and to maintain the norms of social life as a whole.
　　
　　Cultural is a king of belief systems. It has a bearing on a nation's moral ideals, values andideology, and provide with the legal base for the actions of people. Culture is a collectionof force. It integrates people's values and ideas, and formats the unified will of the groupand the collective goal, implements the social mobilization, and ultimately fulfils theoverall goal. The reason why culture has such social functions, mainly due to its corecomponents of the system -values rooted in the hearts of the people's spiritual world,which has a more direct impact on people's way of thinking and behavior. Once theformation of the values, it will maintain its relative stability.
　　
　　Red Culture is a kind of proletariat political culture that the Communist Party ofChina led the Chinese people to create during the blood and fire revolution era, whichimplicates of the political ideals, patriotism, moral ideas and aspirations of communists inthe new-democratic revolution; which highlights of the communist's fine revolutiontraditions and lofty revolution spirit, which embodies a kind of valuable spiritual wealthof the Chinese nation and our party Advanced nature. Red Culture, in essence, becomesthe core of the social system, values, belongs to the advanced areas of socialconsciousness that the Chinese Communist Party led to build in the new-democraticrevolution, and has wealthy scientific connotation. In the history, Red Culture was apolitical phenomenon, and serviced and reflected the new democratic revolution inChina's political and cultural practice. Thesis from the political science point of view,based on the “history” and “reality” dimension, analyses in-depth and systematically thedeep connotation of the Red Culture as well as the essential character and its mechanismto generate, more comprehensively analyses the historical functions of the core elementscarried by Red Culture -- firm ideals and beliefs, scientific innovation, the indomitablerevolutionary spirit and lofty moral character in the new democratic revolution practice.
　　
　　For the current “red culture” in theory, which will undoubtedly develop a new thinkingvision; in the reality Red Culture that we are talking about is a historical and culturalphenomenon, it is high-quality resources of Chinese culture treasure-house, and hasbecome a permanent foundation of advanced socialist culture. Paper in close connectionwith the current reality ,analyses further the real value of Red Culture in building aharmonious socialist society, and strives to expand new vision, new thought train for“party building” and “building a socialist core value system” and “militarymodernization”. Exploring new ways to use the current socialist core value system to leadthe social trend, promoting socialist cultural prosperity and development at large, thisthesis will no doubt have some practical significance.
